The town of Fletcher, NC is located in Henderson County just to the south of Asheville NC real estate and Arden NC real estate.  Originally settled as a small farming community, Fletcher is now also a thriving area with great restaurants, banks, salons, schools, churches and the great Fletcher Community Park. There is are tanning beds, dance studios, barbers, Ingles, CVS pharmacy, car dealerships, fire station, police force, a few car washes, and the Bell School for Children Under Six.  The Post Office is right on the main street, US Highway 25.  

True to it´s agrarian roots, Fletcher NC still has an old feed and seed store where you can buy everything from Silver Queen corn seed, Brandywine tomato seedlings, and environmentally friendly organic fertilizer to Case knives, Realtree camouflage caps, and Remington 12 gauge shotgun shells.  

Fletcher is a great place for the naturalist and outdoor enthusiast to visit.  Don't forget to drop in at Fletcher icon Diamond Brand and pick up a pair of Tevas, a Kavu shirt, or some  Higher Ground Coffee.  Diamond Brand also carries Watershed drybags, Liquidlogic, Native sunglasses, Garmin GPS, Nalgene bottles, Patagonia clothing, and The North Face products.  There is even a fly shop within the venue that sells Simms, Fishpond, and G Loomis along with seasonal flies and other technical gear.  Next door, The Frugal Backbacker carries sale, overstock, and discontinued items from Diamond Brand at reduced prices. 

Fletcher NC real estate is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina near Asheville NC real estate.  It lies between Asheville and Hendersonville in the northern portion of Henderson County NC. The Town of Fletcher NC was officially incorporated in June of 1989 and currently has a population of around 5000.  It encompasses roughly five square miles and stands at just over 2000 feet above the ocean and sea level.  It is located conveniently close to the Asheville airport.
